Welcome to Western Focus Community Organisation - Wefoco
We at are fully focused on, and have a passion for holistic community development
WEFOCO
is a grassroots community-based organization rooted in Shianda, Western Kenya.
Driven largely by local women's groups, we empower widows, families affected by
HIV/AIDS, and vulnerable children through targeted programs in education,
sustainable livelihoods, and gender equality.
Direct Impact: Supporting over 100 children and 600 women through education and welfare initiatives.
Core
Belief: Education is the foundation of
lasting community transformation.
Our Key Pillars
Our key pillars are women groups and volunteer work
Women’s Groups: A growing network of ~30 registered self-help groups across East Wanga collaborating under WEFOCO to access capacity building, economic resources, and support services.
Global Volunteer Network: In partnership with the Estonian NGO Mondo, WEFOCO hosts international experts in education, tailoring, ICT, healthcare, design, and economic development.
About Us
"WEFOCO
has come a long way—starting with nothing to where we are today. Together, we
can transform lives in ways we never could alone."
